The EIP-AGRI Support Facility team visited the experimental fields of INIAV at Quinta Nova in Alcobaça and three Operational Groups projects dedicated to the Fruits Sector in which INIAV is a partner:

Polimax- Promoting and increasing the efficiency of entomophilous pollination in apple, pear and cherry trees https://poli-max.webnode.pt/
The team also had the opportunity to visit the Frubaça, an innovative cooperative that produces, preserves, processes (fruit purees, juices, smoothies), packs and sells fruit from its own farms.
The visit highlighted the importance of multiactor approach to enhance local fruits and the share of knowledge from practice.
